Christopher Exeter Christopher Exeter is a director in the External Affairs Group at UnitedHealth Group, where his responsibilities cover policy and research in UK and Europe. He is currently leading programmes covering data policy, diabetes prevention and service redesign. Prior to joining UHG in 2013, he was a senior fellow in the Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College London, and before that was a senior civil servant at the Department of Health, where he held roles in research & development; technology; and the Chief Medical Officer’s directorate. He was also a private secretary to a minister and a director-general. Before the Department of Health, he worked for Deloitte in corporate finance and in the Executive Office on firm-wide strategy and major acquisitions. He is currently completing a commissioned book on health and technology, and coediting a book on service design in health, for Routledge. He is a scientist by background. Christopher is on the strategy development committee for C3's Board.
