At this C3 International Breakfast Seminar, Dr Cary Adams will talk about the current global cancer burden. As Chief Executive of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), the membership-based NGO that unites the global health community on cancer, Dr Adams will provide insight into accelerating our response to cancer. He will discuss what action is required to address cancer given what has been agreed globally. He will share his views on our capacity to reduce cancer mortality by 2025.


About Dr Cary Adams

Born in London, Dr Cary Adams has a BSc Honours degree in Economics, Computing and Statistics from the University of Bath and a Masters degree (with Distinction) in Business Administration. He is a Harvard Business School Alumni and has recently been awarded two Honorary Doctorates from The University of Business and International Studies in Geneva for International Relations and Bath University for Health. Cary has enjoyed a successful career in international banking before leading UICC for the last 8 years.
