ASPIRE final event: obesity and unemployment- what’s the link?

ASPIRE combines health, wellbeing and up-skilling opportunities in one holistic programme.

On Thursday 2nd March 2023 join us in Lille for a day of networking, interactive sessions with ASPIRE partners and project participants, and hearing from guest speakers.

The event:

The morning will be dedicated to learning from and implementing ASPIRE in a French context. With guest speakers including Daphne Salerno, lecturer at the Lille Institute of Health Engineering, specialising in social marketing.

Guests not based in France are welcome to join this session, interpretation will be provided.

There will also be the opportunity to visit our interactive health kiosk, workshops and exhibitions from the ASPIRE project.

The afternoon will include interactive sessions with the project partners and participants, as well as guest speakers; Professor Louisa Ells – Co-lead of the Obesity Institute Research and a Specialist Academic Advisor to Public Health England, Stephen Bevan – Head of HR Research Development at the Institute for Employment Studies, and Jesper Dahl – Founder and Clinical Director of Southcote Proactive Healthcare and the Wellbeing Age tool.

The kiosks, workshops and exhibitions will also be free to visit in the afternoon.
