Obesity – a cancer risk, C3’s International seminar as part of London Global Cancer Week 2021

Join C3 for the next of our International Seminar series, this time looking at obesity as a cancer risk.

As part of London Global Cancer Week, C3 are proud to be joined by metabolic surgeon, based in Malaysia, Dr Andrea Ooi, who will be sharing her thoughts and findings on the cancer risks of obesity.

As an independent risk factor for many cancers, some studies have reported that nearly 40% of all cancers can be attributed to overweight and obesity.

Dr Andrea will discuss how and why obesity presents a risk to health resulting in serious social and psychological conditions. What is the link between obesity and cancer? The principal management & prevention of the obesity and cancer will be presented.
