Nurses and Carers for Health: Resource Page

Nurses and carers have been at particular risk during the coronavirus pandemic, both from a physical and mental health perspective. C3 engaged with healthcare workers through surveys and focus groups to identify what resources they would like to learn more about preventing major risks for COVID-19 for themselves and their communities. Nursing Minds: Mental health toolkit

Tooth decay is the most common health condition worldwide according to the Global Burden of Disease 2019 yet oral health is frequently overlooked as an indicator of overall wellbeing. Winning hearts and minds: smoking and mental health

What is Winning Hearts and Minds: Winning Hearts and Minds is a partnership between C3 and The Burdett Trust to address smoking in mental health units in England. People with mental health conditions are much more likely than others to be smokers. Over 40% of people with a mental health condition smoke, compared to 14%. This puts them at higher risk of heart disease. Winning Hearts and Minds worked with mental health nurses to help them support their patients to stop smoking.
